The new owners of Homestead Kennels, Scott and Tanya, have more than 40 years of experience between them, ranging from dog training and veterinary nursing to animal behaviour studies. Their experience and expertise are augmented and supported by the amazing, committed staff at Homestead Kennels, all of whom are dedicated to making your pets feel like part of the extended family during their stay. That’s the Homestead difference. Our NEW refurbished dog kennels & cattery are now in operation & we welcome inspections of our facilities and are proud of the level of accommodation we now offer our guests.

Feel free to visit us Monday to Saturday between 11am and 2pm (in Wonga Park, just a 25 minute drive from Melbourne, in the Eastern Suburbs) and we would be happy to show you around! Homestead Boarding Kennels offer a range of pet care services including: short and long-term dog boarding kennels and doggy day care, a specialised cattery for your feline friends, accommodation for a range of other pets (just ask about yours and we’ll try to help). We also specialise in dog training for; obedience, conformation, agility, tracking, herding, and hunting, cat and dog grooming including baths, nail cutting, brushing, and clipping. We offer our clients with a pick-up and delivery ‘pet taxi’ service in Melbourne, available Monday to Friday, as well as emergency on-call vet services
